Firefighter Safety Summit

 

Below is a flyer for a great training opportunity to “create change through education to try to reduce firefighter injuries and deaths”.  The Firefighter Safety Summit will be held at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center the weekend of September 12th to 14th and again February 20th  to 22nd.  Each program is limited to one hundred twenty (120) participants so register early!
This is the program that the County Chiefs endorsed at their March meeting.

Firefighters train with air packs and work to find their way around in a dark obstacle course with a partner.  This simulates search and rescue in a smoke filled structure.
